Our Mission
The Research House for Asian Art (RHAA) is a non-profit art organization founded in 2008 in Chicago. RHAA aims to promote awareness of Asian culture and foster ongoing exchanges of culture and art between East and West. The Research House for Asian Art (RHAA) is a non-profit art organization founded in 2008 in Chicago. RHAA aims to promote awareness of Asian culture and foster ongoing exchanges of culture and art between East and West. RHAA is dedicated to the creation, presentation, and development of Asian contemporary art. RHAA opened its gallery in May 2012, and through a diverse array of exhibitions that showcase the latest in contemporary art from Asia by Asian emerging artists, and along with contemporary artworks by local artists. Since its opening in 2012, RHAA has mounted more than 30 exhibitions that have enriched the cultural life of the city community. RHAA also organizes symposia in which the issues of contemporary art theory and criticism will be discussed. Besides contemporary art, RHAA undertakes and supports research projects for ancient Far Eastern Asian art.

亚洲艺术研究所（RHAA）成立于2008年，它是一所在美国伊利诺伊州注册的非盈利艺术机构，坐落于芝加哥。亚洲艺术研究所以提高美国民众对亚洲文化艺术的认识为使命，并致力于促进东西方文化艺术的对话与交流，增强包括中国在内的亚洲文化艺术在国际上的认同。亚洲艺术研究所与芝加哥艺术学院、芝加哥大学、西北大学等学术教研机构展开广泛合作，策划和组织展览及当代艺术史，理论和批评为专题的学术研讨会。2012年5月，亚洲艺术研究所画廊正式开放，至今已举办了30多场当代艺术所关切的主题艺术展览。亚洲艺术研究所将持续关注来自于亚洲的新兴当代艺术家，为其提供专业的画廊展示空间及交流机会，使亚洲当代艺术的杰出作品进入美国公众的视野。同时，亚洲艺术研究所还举办社区艺术活动、主持学术研讨会及书籍出版等公共项目。
